The successful candidate must be able to drive to site due the the location not being easily accessible via public transport. Job Title: IT Helpdesk Analyst Location: Hereford (Officer Based - Onsite everyday) Salary: Up to 34,000 Job Type: Permanent Start: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Manage and Prioritise the help desk ticket queue, assigning and completing workload efficiently based on business priorities in collaboration with the wider IT department. Deliver clear, responsive, and customer-focused support to all users (in-person, email, telephone, and remote tools), ensuring solutions are easy for users to understand and apply. Identify and Implement automation solutions to address recurring problem themes and eliminate redundant manual processes, working closely with the wider IT team. Maintain and Create training manuals, user guides, and documentation to improve overall user knowledge and self-service capabilities. Triage and Escalate issues accurately to the appropriate internal IT teams or external providers; actively manage day-to-day relationships with third-party vendors. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all issues and resolutions within the help desk system for comprehensive tracking and reporting. Assist with IT operations, including the administration of key systems and the management of third-party supplier contracts. They will collaborate with the Business Systems Manager to ensure system stability and continuous improvement. Address technical issues and implement system changes with a responsive, user-focused approach. The successful candidate must be able to drive to the office due the the location not being easily accessible via public transport. Job Title: Business Systems Engineer Location: Hereford (Officer Based - Onsite everyday) Salary: Up to 42,000 Job Type: Permanent Start: ASAP Responsibilities Administer and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring adherence to Microsoft best practices and standards. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance and security. Manage data extraction and delivery to fulfil critical business and customer requirements. Enhance and maintain existing SQL code, stored procedures, and database objects that support core business systems. Provide support for bug fixing in C# and VB.NET code, with opportunities for further development work. Deliver 3rd-line and on-call support for all system and data-related incidents as required. Advise senior management on Business Systems market best practices, suggesting and managing relevant adoption and improvements. Produce reports and management information to effectively support the business's information needs. Technical Proficiency Demonstrable, hands-on knowledge of SQL management and development. Strong understanding of development techniques, tooling, and various integration methods and technologies. Familiarity with reporting, BI tools, and implementation processes. 2. Development and Application Skills Working knowledge of the Microsoft development stack, languages, and frameworks .
