Reporting into the Procurement Director, the successful candidate will be supporting the businesses' continued success and growth. The group operates out of 23 regional depots, serving a diverse customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely confirmation of delivered volumes following by raising invoices for a diverse customer base - a business critical process. Candidates can expect to be taking responsibility for all billings out of their allocated depots. Candidates will be required to work in a fast paced and team focussed environment where accuracy is paramount. Billing Specialist Main Duties & Responsibilities: Order Confirmations across allocated depots (accurate and timely confirmations for the previous day completed by close of business the following working day) Maintenance of schedules - delete 0 order and depot transfers as required Goods Receipt Notes - Ensure goods receipt notes are entered on the system accurately and are assigned to the contract lifted on Vehicle Stock Maintenance - ensure all vehicle stocks are accurate, investigate, and report any variances (accurate at the close of the previous working day) Third Party Confirmations - Process all third party confirmations on sales ledger, followed by upload of necessary invoice to purchase ledger (third party docket to be cleared down multiple times per week) Credit Notes - Process all credit notes within 24 hours of receipt, ensuring stock treatment is correct Telephone/Email Queries - Respond to all customer invoice queries as required Administrative duties as and when required All exceptions proactively reported to management Billing Specialist Applicants: Order processing experience Accurate inputting skills Strong communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships The ability to work in a busy and pressurised environment Transport & Finance experience desirable Versatility and ability to prioritise work Company Benefits: 25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays. Key Duties: Stock & Inventory Management - Monitoring and controlling engineering stock levels, carrying out regular stock takes, and keeping inventory records up to date. Ordering - Liaising with suppliers and ordering parts/spares, and identifying opportunities to streamline costs or improve supply reliability. Overall Purpose: The Team Leader is responsible for managing the shift in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the key performance indicators (KPIs)targets - OEE/Scrap/OTIF/Quality standards /Throughput and productivity. To provide management and leadership to enable team members to achieve their individual targets. Key Duties: Work as part of the production management team on agreed objectives with other team leaders and the Production manager. Provide daily guidance and enforce the safety policies, procedures and guidelines as set out by the Company. Liaise with toolroom staff to ensure correct tooling is available. Ensure informative handover is effectively communicated to succeeding team leader. Ensure teams channel is updated with shift information. Ensure production KPI targets are understood and achieved. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in area and plant in line with 5S principles. Utilise labour, equipment, plant and materials in the most effective manner. Prioritise work through production processes in conjunction with production plan. Opening & shutting plant down - Ensure start up procedures are followed. Operate machines adjusting processes to optimise quality. Involvement in specific projects where required. Implement, in conjunction with quality dept improved quality initiatives. Assist in training and development of staff. Key Requirements: Exposure to a manufacturing environment. Ideally hold a Team Leading Qualification/NVQ. Team Leading Experience. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multi-task and prioritise. Knowledge of ERP system. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
