Due to year-on-year growth we are now looking to fill this new role for a Picker/Runner from stores to production line. You will be helping a team of c.10 Mechanical Engineers to reduce their down time by taking their orders for parts going to stores department (based on the same site) to place orders, collect and deliver back to the engineer at their work bench. You will need to be a logical thinker, precise and quick thinking to help speed up the process and reduce the down time for machines and the engineers. When not busy with the Shop floor the role will include working in the Stores (alongside an existing well established 2 man team) helping to check and replenish stock, Your tasks could include the use of a Forklift Truck which whilst experience would be an advantage more important than actual experience is a positive can do attitude and the Manager is happy to train the right candidate on any areas you may require.
