In this role, you'll lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and systems - from concept through to production - with a strong focus on high-precision, high-volume manufacturing. Responsibilities for the Senior Design Engineer: Plans and tracks activities to meet project deadlines. Designs plastic injection-moulded products and test equipment using CAD. Capable of designing mechanical mechanisms. Expert in industrial design and surface modelling for concept development. Specialises in design for high-volume manufacturing. Conducts lab testing and documents results. Prepares and reviews design specs, validation documents, and test protocols.
