Male Teaching Assistant - SEN Support (1:1) - Year 4 Location: Upton Park, E13 Pay: £95 - £115 per day (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, Long-term (Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm) Start Date: September 2026 We are currently recruiting for a caring, patient and committed Male Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Upton Park (E13) from September. This is a rewarding long-term opportunity supporting a Year 4 boy on a 1:1 basis . The pupil has Autism (ASD) and is classroom-based, so you will play a key role in helping him access learning, build confidence and thrive within the classroom environment. The school is a beautiful, welcoming primary school with a fantastic leadership team and genuinely supportive staff who work closely together to ensure every child receives the best possible support. The Role Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with Autism. Supporting the child within the classroom and throughout the school day. Encouraging engagement, independence and positive behaviour. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support. Building a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil. The Ideal Candidate Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism, is desirable. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker is beneficial. Calm, patient and nurturing approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, committed and able to build positive relationships with both pupils and staff. What We Offer Long-term, full-time role with a September start.
