MOT Technician role for a growing automotive service centre, suited to an experienced professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, safety and excellent customer service. Skills and experience • A formal NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 automotive qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. • At least few years working as a skilled mechanic on relevant vehicle repairs. • A valid DVSA MOT Licence / Level 2 Award in MOT Job Responsibilities for the MOT Technician role • Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA requirements, company guidelines and centre procedures. • Complete mechanical repairs, servicing and fast-fit work including tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension components. • Use wheel alignment equipment, interpret results and make relevant adjustments where required. • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard while maintaining a clean and professional work area.
