Role: Senior Modern Workplace Engineer Salary: 40,000- 43,000 per annum Location: Reading We are representing our client, an innovative IT services provider, who are seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to join their team. The Senior Modern Workplace Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Modern Workplace solutions, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365 and associated technologies. The successful candidate will act as a senior point of escalation, provide technical leadership, and ensure projects are delivered to high standards. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced support of Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Intune, Teams, SharePoint). Act as the technical escalation point for complex incidents and service requests. Deliver client-focused solutions that align with security and compliance best practices. Support migration and adoption projects across modern workplace platforms. Implement Conditional Access policies for secure access control Your Skills and Experience Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and related services. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Sentinel & Azure AD Knowledge of PowerShell scripting Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Relevant certifications (MS-500, SC-200, SC-300,AZ-500) desirable.
