Geospatial Data Architect Initial 4 month contract Remote Working (UK-Based) Market Rates ( 550 to 600 per day) Outside IR35 The Opportunity: We are supporting a major UK Government Agency in the appointment of an experienced Geospatial Data Architect to help define and govern the data models, standards and integration architecture underpinning a national geospatial and land data ecosystem. You will play a central role in designing the frameworks and governance that support basemap development, land data modelling and data platform modernisation across a complex, multi-system environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished data architect with deep geospatial expertise and public sector experience to influence national data strategy. Skills and Experience: Proven experience designing geospatial data architectures in large enterprise or public sector environments. Proficiency with EA Sparx for data modelling and architecture documentation. Deep knowledge of metadata and geospatial data standards (ISO 19115, INSPIRE and GEMINI). Understanding of coordinate reference systems, topology, geometry validation and data lineage. Experience conducting data quality and completeness assessments and implementing governance frameworks. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to operate within a structured architecture governance model. Role and Responsibilities: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for geospatial and land data using EA Sparx for design and documentation. Define data standards, schemas and metadata frameworks to ensure consistency and interoperability across the organisation. Design solutions that distinguish between live, validated and historical datasets while supporting both batch and streaming-based processing. Conduct gap analyses between existing datasets and new platform requirements. Design and validate integration points, APIs and interoperability standards (including OGC-based). Evaluate data governance maturity and recommend improvements to stewardship, quality and lifecycle management. Collaborate with cloud and solution architects to design secure, performant data storage solutions. Document the as-is and to-be data landscapes, including models, standards and governance processes. QA Analyst QA Test Analyst Exeter, Devon (Hybrid-working with a minimum of x2 days in the office) c£40,000 per year Plus excellent company benefits (including Pension, Bonuses, Life Insurance, Healthcare, etc.) Skills and Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Testing or operating as a QA Analyst, with a strong foundation in both manual testing and supporting automation frameworks. Experience with manual testing, including functional, regression and integration testing. Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and Test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr or X-ray will be beneficial. Experience working in agile teams, collaborating with developers, product managers and DevOps to meet sprint goals and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborate with team members on code repositories. Good understanding of SQL queries to validate data and interact with databases . You ll play a key role in designing and delivering advanced data models, integrating new sources of information and applying modern AI and machine learning techniques to solve real-world challenges. Contracts Administrator Location: Southampton, Hampshire Length: 6 Months Daily Rate: 250 per day (Inside IR35) Full time or part-time options available - 3 or 5 days per week The Opportunity: We are currently looking for a Contracts Administrator to work in a fast paced systems engineering, product-based environment for a leading client operating in the transport technology sector. You will play a key role in identifying and checking compliance of key clauses in company contracts, as well as sitting in on client calls and meetings to detect potential contractual issues. The ideal candidate will have had previous exposure to engineering environments and contracts, as well as supplementary administration and support skills. Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of contract administration and compliance processes. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to raise issues and provide clarity on contractual matters. Highly organised with an eye for detail and strong documentation/reporting skills.
