You will lead a team of few Systems Engineers and operate working across multiple projects delivering your own portfolio of work. Day-to-day, you will assimilate a broad view of programmes, technical challenges and deliver systems engineering artefacts across multiple projects showing a deep interest in the effective productisation of science and technology. Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Lab Technician. You will working as part of the analytical team assisting in processes to help deliver an efficient analytical service to customers. This role delivers in line with all aspects of safety, quality and environmental standards within the team. Rate: £15.54p/hr PAYE (circa £30k per annum) Location: Westlakes Science Park - 100% onsite Duration: 12 months initially Key responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of assigned programmes of work to support the overall delivery of analytical results to time and quality Comply with the laboratory quality management systems to support accreditation Comply with processes and procedures to enable safe working practices Assist the analytical team to provide a consistent and efficient level of service Assist in the waste management of samples and other consumables Carry out routine Laboratory cleaning and maintenance tasks.
