In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to provide leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and support and mentor home managers and staff. Your expertise will directly influence both the quality of care and the operational success of each home. Key Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and manage teams to deliver exceptional resident care aligned with the organisation's vision and values. Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture. Oversee financial and business performance, including budgeting, reporting, and identifying growth opportunities. Ensure all homes meet and maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Monitor and enhance the quality of care, implementing improvements to maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents. Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, regulators, and external stakeholders. Implement systems to track performance, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement. Skills & Attributes Qualified Nurse - desirable not essential Proven track record in managing a care home or similar healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of compliance, regulation, and financial management in the care sector. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of best practice in elderly care. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
