What you'll be doing: As a Machine Operative , you'll play a key role in ensuring our production lines run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Setting up, operating and monitoring production machinery. Ensuring machines are running efficiently and achieving production targets. Carrying out basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting minor issues. Monitoring product quality throughout the production process. Ensuring products are produced in line with customer specifications and quality standards. Completing routine machine checks and reporting any faults or breakdowns. Working closely with Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Engineers to minimise downtime. Following all Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and GMP procedures. Ensuring production records and paperwork are completed accurately. Supporting changeovers between production runs, including machine cleaning and preparation. Maintaining high housekeeping standards within the production area. Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and safety within your area. What we're looking for: Full training will be provided; however, experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous. We're looking for individuals who: Have previous experience operating machinery or working within a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential). What you'll be doing As Process Development Technologist, you will carry out all relevant manufacturing projects to deliver process development and line trials successfully. Provide information to support the creation of customer and factory specifications which lead to the production of accurate and appropriate product labelling information Responsible for the planning, preparation and successful execution of process development and line trials to deliver customer requirements and process improvements Provide process guidance and advice to crossfunctional manufacturing teams to promote adoption of new practices or process for increased efficiency Monitor and communicate process trends to ensure launch date adherence, maximum process optimisation and effective communication to customers Challenge and investigate potential continuous improvement projects and facilitate relevant trials to drive process and product enhancements opportunities Ensure the output of all line trials are fully documented with adherence to food safety, quality standards and customer requirements are met Assessment of equipment capability to ensure that process standards are in line with company and customer requirements to drive improvements Ensure that a safe working environment exists for colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out in the Health, Safety and Environment Policy What we're looking for We're not all the same at Greencore and our differences help us to make every day taste better for all our stakeholders. What you'll be doing Shift: FTC for 12 months working Sun - Thur 06:00 - 14:30 As Hygiene Supervisor to coordinate the hygiene teams to safely deliver hygiene procedures which ensure that the manufacturing facility meets regulatory standards and customers' expectations for hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Micro control. We produce coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads and couscous/grains for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury's, Nando's and Pizza Hut. Our Spalding site has a restaurant with hot food available to all our colleagues. What you'll be doing As a Hygiene Team Leader, you will work as part of a team within our Food Production Halls. You will be responsible for keeping the front of the production area clean and tidy while adhering to Health and Safety guidelines. This will include the removal of stacks of trays and equipment to either be cleaned or stored in designated areas. You will be required to report directly to the Hygiene manager and ensure that the hygiene team is working as efficiently and safely as possible. What you'll be doing To manage and control stock, by maintaining accurate and auditable stock records within Greencore systems and third-party warehouses, critically differentiating between good and held stock. Optimise the efficiency of physical stock movements and stock transactions through Greencore and third-party systems, targeting complete stock integrity. Present and explain data to the commercial team to ensure that all risky stock is managed through to a customer sale or controlled disposal. Manage the timely and controlled progression of embargoed stock through the technical workflow system, ensuring that total embargoed stock is minimised by promptly processing releases, rework and disposals. Update, maintain and improve stock integrity Validate and sign off received invoices to aid budget management. What we're looking for Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience: You're comfortable with standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying, as well as other tasks such as cleaning.
