Our client in Sharpness is looking for Warehouse Operative who will handle light goods. This opportunity is currently an ongoing assignment, there will be permanent opportunities for workers that prove themselves to be reliable and have a good work ethic. The role will be starting immediately Shift Times; Sunday - Thursday 19:00 - 06:00 Duties: Moving lightweight packaging boxes from a container onto pallets throughout the day Unloading boxes of disposable food packing products Stacking products in a safe manor onto pallets, ready to be shrink wrapped Using manual handling equipment to move pallets from the container to put away location within the warehouse Requirements: Must have your own transport. Site is not on a public transport route therefor own transport is essential Safety shoes and Hi Vis are required for all temporary workers with no set uniform required Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential Follow all health and safety guidelines throughout the duration of your shift. Pay : £16.68 per hour You will be required to lift light weight packaging items throughout the duration of your shift. This will be unloading the goods onto pallets before wrapping them for storage. You will be trained across this section and picking so it breaks up your shift. Being continual work, you must be prepared to be moving goods throughout your shift with the use of manual handling equipment (training provided).
