Science Technician - Secondary School - Tonbridge Area We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Tonbridge area . This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy and successful Science department in a varied and hands-on role. Working closely with teaching staff, you will play a key part in ensuring practical lessons run smoothly and safely, helping to create an engaging learning environment for students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5). Key responsibilities include: Preparing, setting up, and clearing away equipment and materials for science practicals Supporting teachers during practical lessons when required Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring resources are stored safely and correctly Managing stock levels and ordering supplies in line with department needs Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed at all times The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and able to manage their time effectively in a busy school environment. A good working knowledge of laboratory procedures and health and safety in a science setting is important. Previous experience in a school laboratory or a scientific environment would be highly advantageous. This role would suit someone with a background in science, laboratory work, or technical support, who enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to students' learning behind the scenes.
