About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company that values expertise, initiative, and a proactive mindset. You will play a critical role in managing and coordinating shipments across air, road, and ocean, ensuring seamless movement of goods through UK and international customs. Ideally looking for both Import/ Exports but will consider one and train on the other. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate import and export shipments via air, road, and sea • Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and procedures • Liaise with clients, carriers, HMRC, and internal teams • Manage documentation and timely clearance of goods • Provide end-to-end operational support in a fast-paced logistics environment Experience • Proven operations experience in logistics or freight forwarding • Deep knowledge of customs procedures and documentation • Familiarity with air, road, and ocean freight processes Ideally both Import & Export experience (will train on one) • A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability Experience with customs software and familiarity with CDS (Customs Declaration Service) will be a distinct advantage. Department Operational Performance - monitor performance to ensure customer service requirements are achieved. Department Leadership and Management - Assisting the Export Manager to lead the Export team to deliver excellent department performance and customer service. Build Customer Relationships - ensure the retention and growth of key accounts and local customers through delivery of operational and customer excellence - Customer First.
