Class 2 Driver (Cat C) required for our client based in Walsall. Day work with early starts between 04:00-07:00am. The vehicle is either a Drop Sided or Curtain Sided Lorry and you are driving to 1 - 4 destinations each day depending on volumes of work and where the deliveries are, you will need to have strapping experience to help secure goods and keep the products your are delivering dry. The products you are delivering are loaded and off loading either side from the staff at delivery points normally with a FLT or Crane. As a professional driver you will hold a current Class 2 Driver Licence, Digital Tachograph and Valid CPC Card. 3 Recruit are an Employment Business and our client based in Wednesbury are looking to recruit 7.5T and Van drivers who can drive either 7.5 Tonne and Vans for multi drop work delivering around the Birmingham and Midlands areas to mainly companies although you may have the odd drop come up for a residential property. You will also need to do some warehouse work to help load vehicles and put returns away when you get back to the depot. (Experience is preferred but training will be given to the right applicants). The hours are Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30 although with distribution these may change slightly due to traffic and hold ups out of your control. You will be driving either 7.5 Tonne (Tacho) or 3.5 Tonne vehicles (Non Tacho). You will need to have a can do attitude, and be able to lift, You will need to perform vehicle checks and report any defects to your line manager to get them rectified.
