Responsibilities: Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting of cases in a consistent and technical manner within the authority limit. You will act as the primary contact for medium sized clients and support with larger sized clients. Experience: Candidates need to come from an engineering or construction underwriting background and have knowledge of the UK or international construction market. You will be calm, flexible, diplomatic and have strong commercial acumen. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and CRM systems In return candidates can expect to receive a competitive basic salary and a leading benefits package including enhanced pension, PMI (including family), 32 days holiday + bank holidays, bonus potential etc.

We are pleased to be working on behalf of a global specialist insurance provider, who require a Senior Claims Adjuster / Senior Claims Assessor to join their growing multinational and international property and construction team. Responsibilities: Candidates will be responsible for assessing and managing a caseload of complex international property and construction claims through the process. You will carry out a proactive assessment, confirm coverage and evaluate investigative material to enable you to resolve claims in a timely manner. You will appoint loss adjusters, lawyers and other experts to ensure the interests of the company ae protected. As an experienced and Senior Adjuster within the team you will supervise and support more junior members of the team Experience: Candidates need to have proven and demonstrable experience over a number of years managing a caseload of large and / or complex property or construction claims You will demonstrate knowledge of international programmes including Europe, Asia and US. You will have excellent team and communication skills and be confident and competent in dealing with a range of intermediaries and clients and being able to conduct multi-party negotiations. Ideally candidates will hold professional qualifications, although this is not essential. In return candidates can expect to receive a competitive basic salary and excellent benefits package.
