The successful candidate will be carrying out maintenance and repair works within residential properties and must have a strong all-round skill set. Duties & Responsibilities Carry out general maintenance and repair works within residential properties. Complete carpentry, basic plumbing, plastering, tiling and general building repairs. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works. Diagnose faults and complete remedial works to a high standard. Work within occupied properties while maintaining a professional approach with residents. Complete jobs efficiently and ensure properties are left clean and safe. Role and Responsibilites Scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance works for a team of operatives. Managing daily diaries and allocating jobs efficiently. Liaising with operatives, residents, contractors and internal teams. Booking appointments with residents and ensuring works are scheduled within agreed timescales. Monitoring outstanding jobs and following up on delays or issues. Updating internal systems with accurate job and appointment information. Prioritising urgent and time-sensitive repairs. Ensures works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and allocate work to operatives for voids and disrepair contracts. Carry out pre- and post-inspections to assess and sign off works. Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards. Monitor KPIs, job progress, and cost control. Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams. Support operatives with technical guidance from prior trade experience. Maintain accurate job records and use job management systems. Requirements: Supervisory experience in social housing repairs. Strong knowledge of voids, responsive repairs, and disrepair processes.
