Digital Learning and Platforms Developer Salary: £37,207 - £42, 070 Location: Hybrid, Cambridge or Fully Remote This role is central to shaping and delivering the Foundation's digital learning offer. As part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will play a key role in building partnerships across the sector, supporting engagement with practitioners, and helping to extend the reach and impact of the Foundation's work. You will work closely with senior colleagues, programme teams, and external partners to translate organisational strategy into practical, scalable digital solutions. The role combines hands-on platform management with strategic input into the design and delivery of digital learning. You will lead improvements in user experience and accessibility, coordinate the development of high-quality learning resources, and use data, feedback and emerging tools such as AI where appropriate to drive continuous improvement. Core focus areas for this role include: Translating organisational strategy into scalable digital solutions by working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with organisational priorities and long-term goals. Building and leveraging strategic partnerships to accelerate delivery, enhance capability, and enable the successful implementation of scalable digital solutions. Leading on the continuous improvement of Moodle and other digital learning platforms. Enhancing accessibility, usability, and learner journeys. Developing and managing multimedia content, including short-form video. Coordinating and quality assuring resources created by programme teams. Person specification Experience: Experience of managing and developing digital learning platforms (e.g. Moodle) in an education context. Experience of creating digital learning content and resources, including multimedia. Strong understanding of user experience, accessibility, and inclusive design. Ability to coordinate work across teams and influence without line management authority. Experience of using data and feedback to improve digital learning environments and/ or resources. Strong organisational and project management skills. Experience of building and managing external relationships to support the reach, use, and impact of digital resources or programmes. Understanding of the education system in England. Understanding of EAL or ESOL provision (desirable). Experience working in the education or charity sector (desirable) Familiarity with video production and editing tools e.g. Canva, Adobe Premiere or Adobe Express (desirable). Experience of using AI tools to support content creation or digital learning design (desirable). Personal qualities: Clear and adaptable communication skills, with the ability to create content for different audiences and formats. Strong planning and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Policy and Public Affairs Officer Salary: £37,207-£42,070 Location: Hybrid, Cambridge We are looking for a Policy and Public Affairs Officer to lead and deliver the Foundation's policy and influencing work to support evidence-based system change. As part of our influencing team, you will drive the delivery of an influencing strategy and create strategic partnerships that have the potential to deliver regional and national impact. You will work closely with senior colleagues, programme teams, and external partners to ensure that learning from the Foundation's work informs national and regional policy debates. The role combines policy development and public affairs engagement, with the role holder representing the Foundation in external policy forums, as well as building partnerships across the sector, and positioning the Foundation's research, evidence, and learning to inform public policy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in policy development and stakeholder engagement for system change, who is motivated by our charitable mission. Person Specification Experience Educated to degree level or equivalent. Experience of influencing Government and public policy in a comparable role. Demonstrable significant experience in parliamentary affairs and an excellent knowledge of the UK political landscape including the workings of Westminster, Whitehall, and regional Government. Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining collaborations with a wide range of partners. Experience of developing policy positions and articulating these convincingly to decision makers and stakeholders. Experience of efficiently and accurately analysing complex information in a clear and concise manner for written materials and for different audiences.
