Overview Wild Recruitment are working with a leading Aerospace manufacturer and are looking for experienced manual machinists Responsibilities Set up and operate manual machine tools including Jig Bores, lathes and mills Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings and specifications. Produce and rework components to specified tolerances and surface finishes. Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometres, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges, DTI's). Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools. Complete relevant production and quality documentation accurately. Work closely with the Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure parts meet design intent and customer requirements. Required Experience Proven experience as a manual machinist/tool maker in a precision engineering or aerospace environment. Skilled in working with a variety of materials and castings Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Experience working to AS9100 standards preferred. Ability to use precision measuring equipment and maintain accurate documentation. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering preferred. This HGV Refuse Driver role is temporary but ongoing 16.75ph PAYE Shifts are Monday - Friday, 6am to 3pm - 42.5 hours a week What you will be doing as a HGV Refuse driver: Driving Class 2 Refuse trucks to collect waste from residential and commercial properties. Working as part of a 2 or 3 man crew You will need to carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly. You must comply with health and safety procedures and policies at all times.
