Our Bristol dealership is on the lookout for a qualified accountant with automotive experience to join the team. The main purpose of the role will be to provide professional financial advice to the management team. The responsibilities of the role To exercise full control over all financial aspects of the business in accordance with Company policy and to ensure that management control is implemented effectively to safeguard the assets of the group To co-ordinate and control the accounting and administrative functions relating to the Branch To provide timely and accurate management information on financial performance including detailed monthly management accounts to help with current performance and future plans and any other information required by RRG Head Office Review Branch management controls, identify problem areas and recommend improvements, then following up their implementation To co-ordinate and assist in the production of the yearly Branch budgets and to ensure that it has a strong financial foundation To ensure that the Branch operates within Group policies and complies with other statutory financial requirements To take ownership of and ensure the integrity of the branch Balance Sheet, Reconciliation, control and correction of key balance sheet accounts. What you ll bring Previous experience as a Branch Accountant preferably within the automotive sector A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with not less than 3 years post qualification experience Good Knowledge of SAP / EPM Previous experience of UK GAAP, financial reporting and analysis, budget preparation and forecasting Ability to liaise and work with key Operational Managers Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail Computer literate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills The working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Your responsibilities will include: Submitting claims using technicians reports in line with manufacturer guidelines Negotiating with warranty providers and manufacturers to secure rightful reimbursements Preparing invoices for internal preparation work, job card management, filing and other admin duties Following up outstanding warranty invoices to drive recovery rates Maintaining accurate records via our Dealer Management System (DMS) and MS Excel Promoting best practice across our regional network to ensure optimal claim success You ll collaborate closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, the Parts Manager, Accounts, and the Head of Business; so teamwork and clear communication are key. About You We re looking for someone who can combine technical knowledge with customer-first service and strong negotiation skills. To succeed in this role, you should have: A proven track record as a Warranty Controller or Senior Service Advisor Confidence in handling warranty disputes with professionalism and fairness Excellent communication skills (face-to-face, phone, email, live chat) Experience with warranty systems and dealer management systems (Kerridge, ADP Autoline, CDK Drive, or similar) Competence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams The ability to handle sensitive cases with discretion and accuracy A self-motivated and organised approach, with the ability to prioritise effectively Experience with volume, LCV, or prestige brands will all be considered. Vehicle Progressor Automotive Retail Dealership Enfield, EN1 £25,000 pa + bonus 5-day week, 40 hours Renault Enfield is looking for a Vehicle Progressor. This will be a customer service, progress-chasing and problem-solving role working alongside with our Car Sales teams and based at our showroom in Enfield, EN1 As a Vehicle Progressor you will be carrying out varied and interesting dealership-based duties such as driving, vehicle logistics administration and vehicle preparation, all of which help with the efficiency of the Sales Department. You will be checking the condition of new vehicles as they arrive on the transporter, recording damage or missing parts, arranging preparation and valeting/cleaning of vehicles ready for handover, ensuring all vehicles are parked safely and in retrievable locations, carrying out handover exchanges of returned Company cars and associated admin, and taking payment for any damages on returned vehicles. You'll assist the sales team in display standards in the showroom and our outdoor forecourt display. Your daily interactions will be between customers, members of the sales team, valeting staff and the service department who carry out pre-delivery checks on sold vehicles. This means you will be responsible for customer & stock vehicles, car keys, appropriate & safe vehicle parking, and reporting defect or shortfalls in items/equipment or anything that may be considered infringing on heath and safety. You must hold a full and clean UK Driver s licence, with no more than 6 points, held for at least one year for insurance purposes, to be considered for this role. Hours of work 5 days per week on rota One regular weekday off per week on weeks where Saturday work is on the rota 8:30am to 5.30pm weekday In return, this job offers a basic salary of £25,000 per annum.
