This is a high-impact role for someone with a strong analytical background in mortgages who enjoys shaping strategy, influencing decisions, and managing change end-to-end. The Role You'll play a leading part in developing and enhancing mortgage products, pricing, and criteria, ensuring the business remains competitive, compliant, and well-positioned in the market. Key responsibilities include: Conducting detailed data analysis and market research to support product and pricing improvements Delivering MI and modelling to drive strong price and credit risk management Writing proposals and leading product governance processes Managing product, price, and criteria changes end-to-end - from idea to implementation Providing technical sign-off on communications and regulatory documents Supporting the resolution of incidents and product-related issues About You Deep analytical capability - both quantitative and qualitative Strong knowledge of UK mortgages (processes, products, and criteria) Experience in credit risk and/or product and pricing analytics (ideally both) Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to work in a London office four days per week Desirable but not essential: Experience managing product/price/criteria changes end-to-end Knowledge of property risk management and data Why Apply? Case Manager We're working with a growing mortgage lender looking to expand their New Business team with an experienced Case Manager. This is an opportunity to join a modern and forward-thinking business where you'll play a key role in guiding applications smoothly from initial submission through to offer. You'll work closely with brokers, underwriters and business development colleagues to ensure each case is packaged accurately, meets lending criteria and delivers an exceptional service to both intermediaries and customers. Key Responsibilities: Manage a pipeline of new mortgage applications from initial submission through to offer. Conduct thorough checks on documentation to ensure all information is complete, accurate and compliant with lending policy. Liaise proactively with brokers and intermediaries to obtain outstanding information and progress applications efficiently. Pre-underwrite cases, identifying potential issues early and escalating where necessary. Build strong working relationships with internal teams including underwriting, sales, and completions. Maintain detailed and accurate records within the CRM and case management systems. Deliver a consistently high level of customer service, ensuring communication is clear and timely throughout the process. Work within agreed service levels and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. About You: Proven experience as a Case Manager, Mortgage Packager, or New Business Administrator within a mortgage lender, packager, or brokerage environment. Strong understanding of the end-to-end mortgage application process. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Confident communicator who enjoys liaising with intermediaries and internal teams. Organised, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
