Commercial Account Lead / Manager Location: Reigate, Surrey Salary: Circa £50,000 Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (1-hour paid lunch) Are you an experienced commercial engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established plumbing and heating company in Reigate, is seeking a Commercial Account Lead/Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to transition "off the tools" while leveraging your technical expertise and IT skills to manage key client accounts. About the Company Our client is a trusted name in plumbing and heating, providing services to both residential and commercial customers. Their expertise includes: Boiler installation, servicing, and repair Plumbing services such as bathroom installations, leak detection, and general maintenance Comprehensive commercial plumbing and heating solutions Role Overview As the Commercial Account Lead/Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring excellent service delivery, building strong relationships, and identifying opportunities for account growth. You will combine your technical knowledge with strong organisational and IT skills to support the Commercial division. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships Ensure timely and successful delivery of projects and services Identify opportunities for account growth through upselling and cross-selling Handle challenging client requests and escalations Provide technical support to the Commercial division Maintain accurate records of orders, timesheets, quotations, and tablet data Communicate company services and policies effectively Uphold the highest standards of health & safety and compliance Undertake additional reasonable duties to support the business Candidate Requirements Essential: Proven experience in account management or a related role Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to build trust and rapport with clients Problem-solving and negotiation skills Extensive plumbing and heating experience Strong IT skills, including laptops, Outlook, CRM systems, smartphones, and apps Personal Qualities: Logical, problem-solving approach Flexible and adaptable Commitment and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality work Excellent organisation and time management skills Collaborative and customer-focused Other Requirements: No previous criminal convictions (MET Police pass required)
