Role - Electrical Project Engineer Location - Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire Are you an experienced Electrical Project Engineer looking for your next challenge? Join Galliford Try s Environment Business and play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure projects that make a real difference to communities. Based in or around South East England, you ll work across multiple sites and projects, primarily within the water industry covering clean schemes. Reporting to the Project Manager, you ll collaborate with a dedicated project delivery team to ensure design, procurement, financial control, and site activities are completed to the highest standards. What you ll be doing: Lead electrical engineering across multiple sites and projects. Deliver Non-Infra M&E projects within the water sector. Manage design, procurement, and stakeholder coordination. Oversee site investigations, testing, commissioning, and client training. Prepare RAMS, project plans, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Monitor budgets, review costs, and drive innovation. What we re looking for: Electrical ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent. BS7671 (18th Edition). Full UK driving licence. Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Desirable: Water industry experience, NEC contracts knowledge, CDM, ATEX, DSEAR. CSCS/ECS Card, EUSR Water Hygiene, SMSTS, First Aid. Why join us? Site Services Technician - Electrical Supervisor Location: Site-based in Paisley, with travel across Scotland Ready to take your electrical expertise to the next level? If you re an experienced electrician who loves variety, problem-solving, and working on-site, this is your chance to make an impact This position involves regular travel across Scotland, working on Water & Wastewater Treatment sites, as well as occasional work in our factory. What you will be doing: Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems to the highest standards. Lead and supervise contractors on-site, ensuring safety and quality. Troubleshoot, fault-find, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. Keep accurate documentation (RAMS, reports, site diaries). Champion Health & Safety and best practices every day. What we re looking for: Essential: Electrical installation experience in site-based environments. Strong Health & Safety awareness. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 & 3 in electrical/mechanical discipline. Knowledge of Electrical Wiring Regulations. Desirable: 18th Edition (or working towards). ECS or CSCS Craft Card.
