Working within a highly regarded defendant litigation team, you will handle complex multi track EL and PL claims for major retail and corporate clients, managing cases from litigation through to trial. Description The Personal Injury Solicitor will be: Managing a caseload of litigated defendant EL and PL claims from inception through to trial Handling complex multi track matters valued up to £350,000 Acting on behalf of large retail and corporate clients Preparing cases for trial, including witness statements, disclosure and instructions to counsel Advising clients on litigation strategy, liability and quantum Conducting negotiations and settlement discussions where appropriate Ensuring compliance with the DCP and relevant procedural rules Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required Building and maintaining strong client relationships Working collaboratively within a busy and high performing litigation team Profile The Personal Injury Solicitor should be: A solicitor or equivalent with ideally 5+ years PQE in defendant personal injury litigation Experienced in handling litigated EL and PL claims on the multi track Confident managing claims valued up to £350,000 through to trial Fully conversant with the DCP and Civil Procedure Rules Commercially aware with strong client management skills Organised and capable of managing a busy caseload effectively A confident communicator with excellent drafting and negotiation skills Able to work from Bradford Job Offer Salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum. 25 days of holiday leave, Participation in a pension scheme.
