We are recruiting for a growing independently owned, financial planning firm who are looking for an experienced financial planning admin or paraplanning team leader to join their team in Newcastle. This is a leadership role that sits at the heart of their advice teams, known as Pods, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so Advisers can focus on what they do best: helping clients. You will lead the Advice Support Functions made up of Paraplanning and Planning Support teams. You'll make sure they're working efficiently, consistently, and collaboratively across Pods, delivering high quality support to Advisers and clients. You'll be the go-to person for team performance, hiring, development, and day-to-day operations. You'll also help improve processes and sharing best practice across Pods. What we're looking for: This role is ideal for someone with extensive knowledge of Paraplanning and Planning Support, a passion for developing high-performing teams, and the ability to drive operational efficiencies while maintaining a high standard of client support. 3+ years expertise in financial planning administration and/or paraplanning. Proven leadership and team management within financial services. Skilled in performance monitoring, using MI to drive improvements and support structured bonus schemes. Qualifications aren't essential but will be encouraged and supported as part of your progression route within this role. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the office, 2 days working from home.

Our client is a leading technology focused financial planning firm who are on an exciting growth trajectory and looking for their next experienced financial planner to join them on their journey. You will be given pre-qualified meetings with warm lead clients to convert and full support in growing your book. You will be entrepreneurial and enjoy business development and be eager to participate in things like seminars and networking events. You will have at least 1 years experience of managing your own clients and be at least Level 4 qualified and on your way to Chartered status. You will be supported by a highly technical and competent Paraplanning team with no requirement to do your own paraplanning or admin. Our client offers great flexibility with most internal and external meetings completed remotely, but do encourage people to be in the office a couple of days a week to contribute to the ongoing growth of the business and be part of the team.
