Apprentice Manufacturing Technician with developing key skills including : Understanding engineering drawings Preparing components for assembly Supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Maintaining documentation, and learning the principles of quality, safety, and process control. you will work closely with experienced engineers and technicians to build the knowledge, skills, and behaviours Apprentice Manufacturing Technician Minimum Requirements Good standard of spoken and written English. Solid numeracy skills to support measurement, calculations, and technical documentation Genuine interest in developing a career in engineering preferably, electronic engineering or manufacturing. Able to demonstrate good practical skills and an interest in technology. Evidence of attention to detail and reliability (school projects, extracurriculars, hobbies like robotics, mechanics, or design technology) GCSEs or equivalent (particularly Maths, English, Science, or Design & Technology) preferred Candidates with or without experience considered Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential). The position is based on a business park which is not walking distance of the train station. The role supports the smooth running of daily business operations through accurate record-keeping, supplier coordination, training compliance monitoring, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
