Maintenance Operative (Bathrooms) Pay Rate: £13.71 Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 Location: Central Liverpool, L3 Contract Type: Temporary until end of August Immediate start date Summary: A temporary Maintenance Operative responsible for applying bathroom sealant and completing sealing tasks across various bathroom fixtures to ensure water tight, safe, and hygienic conditions. Key Responsibilities: Sealant Application - Apply silicone or appropriate bathroom sealant to baths, showers, sinks, toilets, and any other required fixtures. Surface Preparation - Clean, dry, and prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and long lasting results. Inspection Work - Identify areas requiring resealing, including worn, cracked, or mould affected sealant. Removal Tasks - Safely remove old or damaged sealant before applying new material. Quality Assurance - Ensure all sealing work is completed to a high standard, leaving clean, neat finishes. Tool Handling - Use sealant guns, scrapers, smoothing tools, and cleaning agents safely and effectively. Requirements: Experience with Sealant - Previous experience applying bathroom or construction sealant is preferred. Attention to Detail - Ability to produce clean, precise finishes. Physical Capability - Comfortable working in small spaces and performing manual tasks. Health & Safety Awareness - Understanding of safe handling of tools and materials. Reliability - Able to complete tasks within agreed timeframes. Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative 12.85 per hour Knowsley Ongoing temporary with potential permanent Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 1pm (37 hours per week) A well-established SME in Knowsley are seeking a Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of 12.85 and hours are full-time Monday to Friday on days. This role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis so please only apply if you are seeking a temporary role with potential for permanent. Full training is also offered in this position. Responsibilities: Assembly of product as instructed. Ensure assembly, inspection and test procedures are carried out using the correct tolls documentation and processes. Maintain proper completion of job cards and other associated manufacturing processes. Use and read measuring equipment as required. Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area. Carry out team designated functions. Feedback to Supervision and other designated personnel regarding problems and issues which you encounter. Assist in the introduction of new products into the assembly areas. Pursue cost saving operation where appropriate. Perform other related duties as assigned.
