The Systems & Reporting Developer Role: As our Systems & Reporting Developer, you will support the college's systems and reporting needs by developing and maintaining software applications, chatbots, databases, and reports. The role involves working closely with MI and the Digital Education teams to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions. Core responsibilities include supporting .NET application development, designing AI-driven chatbots, writing SQL queries, developing Power BI dashboards, and providing technical assistance to internal users. Responsibilities as our Systems & Reporting Developer will include: Design, develop, test, and maintain in-house applications to improve college operations. Build, test, and maintain AI chatbots to serve various departmental needs. Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and integration tasks. Design and manage reports using SSRS and Power BI to meet requirements across departments. Collaborate with the team to optimise existing data processes and management systems. Assist the team in troubleshooting and maintaining reports, databases, and software applications ensuring data quality, integrity and security. Maintain clear and up-to-date technical and end-user documentation for systems, reports, and processes. Identify and implement improvements in reports, systems, and processes. Provide user training and support to promote adoption and understanding of the solutions delivered. Assist the IT team with updates to the student records system. Work closely with the line management and the other members of the development team to ensure project and regular cycle deadlines are met.
