The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out specified deliveries within the procedures laid down by the Company and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service. You will cover deliveries as and when required due to holidays, sickness, and other absences, ensuring all allocated deliveries are completed efficiently and on time. Pay Rate: £32,868 Per Annum Key Responsibilities: Complete all allocated deliveries on a daily basis in line with company procedures. Ensure vehicle is roadworthy and load is secure before leaving site. Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery notes according to company procedures. Handle all monies collected during deliveries in line with company guidelines. Provide excellent customer service and develop strong working relationships with clients. Cash in all payments at the end of each day, following company procedure. Adhere to all health & safety, vehicle security, and Ministry of Transport Operators Licence requirements. Maintain vehicle cleanliness to meet company audit standards. Report any vehicle defects or concerns immediately to the Operations Manager. Communicate any customer-related queries or issues to the Operations Manager. Provide sickness and holiday cover for warehouse personnel and other driving staff as needed. Perform any other general duties as required within the scope of the role. Key Requirements: Must hold a HGV 2 licence, and have a valid CPC and Digi Taco Card Experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently, follow procedures, and ensure timely completion of deliveries. Attention to detail with paperwork and adherence to company procedures. Flexibility to cover absences and work in various roles as required. We are recruiting for experienced 7.5 tonne and HGV 2 drivers for our Customer, a national Distributor of flatpack products based in Northampton (NN4 ) to work as part of a 2-man team delivering a mixture of flat pack products to residential houses and flats.
