Load and unload materials using appropriate machinery, ensuring safe handling of heavy items through proper lifting techniques. Conduct cleaning and sanitation of work areas to maintain a tidy and hazard-free environment. Assist with waste collection and disposal processes, supporting sanitation efforts across the facility. Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Support manufacturing or recycling operations by sorting materials accurately and efficiently. Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to operational procedures. Proven experience operating loaders, excavators, forklifts, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, or garbage trucks in a manufacturing or recycling environment. Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation with a focus on safety and efficiency. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail for sorting recyclable materials accurately. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina. Knowledge of sanitation practices and waste management regulations is a plus.
