MRF Manager (Materials Recovery Facility) Location: Windsor Salary: circa £50k plus vehicle and bonus As a MRF Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). You will be responsible for ensuring operational targets and objectives are consistently achieved, maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. You will manage and support a team of over 20 staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the MRF and RDF facility, covering processing mixed C&D and C&I wastes. Oversee and coordinate shift operations to meet company targets and quality standards Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations; conduct investigations and implement corrective actions following incidents/accidents Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PPM), plant shutdowns, and routine cleans to ensure maximum plant availability Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness Sale of all recyclate Cost control to budget and variance analysis, productivity to budget and site KPI s, RDF production to offtake About You Extensive experience managing MRF and RDF facilities, ideally in high-volume, multi-shift environments Demonstrable experience managing large operational teams Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and plant equipment used within MRF operations WAMITAB /COTC Level 4 qualification (essential) NEBOSH qualification (preferred) Key Attributes: Highly motivated and organised Approachable and supportive leadership style Strong sense of discipline and accountability Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to build rapport across all levels of the business Commitment to continuous improvement and safety culture
