Blue Coat Network Engineer, £400 per day inside IR35 12 months initially, Luton & Remote Working Bench IT require an of experienced Blue Coat Network Engineer to join a large organisation starting ASAP working 2 days per week onsite in Luton and the remaining time remotely. This role will be to assist with operational activity, optimisation and continuous improvement. The successful Blue Coat Network Engineer should have the skills and experience included below: Expertise with Blue Coat Proxy Solutions Proxy management: Configure, manage, and optimize Blue Coat Proxy solutions, including web filtering, access policies, and routing rules. Security implementation: Implement and manage security features such as SSL inspection, URL filtering, and application control to enforce organizational policies. Troubleshoot network traffic flow and Proxy-related issues to resolve problems and ensure network stability. Monitor Proxy performance and optimize it to improve user experience and network efficiency. Work closely with security and senior engineering teams to enhance threat protection and visibility. Ensure the network infrastructure complies with organizational security policies and industry standards. Create and maintain technical documentation for changes and new network solutions. Knowledge of perimeter security, network security concepts, and related tools like Firewalls and IPS/IDS. Experience with network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and remote access systems. The Network Engineer will require strong skills will Cisco DNAC & ISE and work at a CCNP level. The successful Network Engineer should have the skills and experience included below: Extensive experience with Cisco ISE & DNAC Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies MPLS and DWDM infrastructure; and LAN and WiFi network design Knowledgeable about Firewalls, including IP security, Internet Proxy and remote access virtual private networks Investigates and diagnoses complex network problems.
