Job Description: The Role We are seeking an experienced Damp & Mould Surveyor to join our clients team. This is a hybrid role, combining technical surveying expertise with client relationship management and sales skills. You will work predominantly with our existing insurance client base, conducting detailed property inspections, diagnosing the causes of damp and mould issues, and recommending appropriate remedial actions. In addition, you will play a key role in generating follow-on work by building trust with clients, providing clear explanations, and promoting our prevention and remediation services. This role is ideal for someone with a background in mechanical maintenance within a process, energy, utilities, or heavy industrial environment. As Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the facility through hands-on maintenance and fault diagnosis of key mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned and unplanned mechanical maintenance to ensure plant availability and reliability. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems and components. Assist in the coordination and supervision of contractors when required. Input maintenance activities accurately into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Conduct plant and area safety inspections in line with site standards. Work in compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operations. Requirements: Essential: Experience in mechanical maintenance within a power plant, process industry, or similar environment. Familiarity with maintenance management systems.
