The Opportunity You'll play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients and assisting the partners and managers in the completion of Audit assignments and drafting statutory accounts, either individually or as part of a team to agreed budgets and deadlines. All Audits are allocated to a manager so you will be working with the support and guidance of managers who have been with the firm for many years. What You'll Be Doing As our Audit and Accounts Semi Senior , you'll be responsible for: Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing an analytical review Leading smaller audits, supervising, delegating and reviewing work of trainees Accounts preparation including corporation tax Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge Monitoring your chargeability and your assignment budgets pro-actively Developing specialist sector knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years' experience within a practice focusing on SME / Owner Managed Clients Ideally a mixture of Audit/Accountancy/Corporate Tax experience with Audit being essential ACA/ ACCA part qualified Familiarity with MyWorkpapers and Iris would be advantageous Ability to work on assignments either individually or as part of the small team that we have Be authentic in every situation and like to be connected to your team, clients and local communities Like to listen and understand, to show up every day with passion and to stand up for things that matter to you Enthusiastic and positive attitude Be driven to succeed, take initiative and want result Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our values, enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about delivering great results.
