Planning, preparing, and cooking a variety of meals for students, considering dietary needs and nutritional requirements while adhering to food safety regulations. Developing menus that are both healthy and appealing, working within a set budget and following dietary guidelines. Ordering food supplies, following the school procurement processes, monitoring food stock levels and ensuring all food items are stored appropriately and In line with food hygiene procedures and guidelines. Managing and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene standards and safety procedures. Briefing kitchen staff each day on the required work, supervising kitchen staff daily, delegating tasks when appropriate and ensuring staff members complete the required training.
