Management Accountant. OUR CLIENT is a leading international property investment and development business with a diverse portfolio of UK and European entities. They are seeking an experienced Management Accountant with previous real estate or property sector experience to join their collaborative Finance team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. Working within a small but highly skilled team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting statutory accounts, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous process improvements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and deliver quarterly management accounts for smaller entities and third-party accounts. Support the Finance Manager in preparing quarterly management accounts for larger entities. Assist with the quarterly group consolidation process and prepare supporting schedules for reporting to the overseas Head Office. Assist in drafting statutory financial statements for multiple entities for review. Liaise with external auditors to ensure statutory accounts are completed accurately and on time. Review draft financial statements for third-party entities, identifying any significant changes from previously reported accounts. Audit & Compliance Review VAT and CIS reporting and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Prepare Office for National Statistics (ONS) survey returns and supporting schedules. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies. Support the implementation and development of finance systems. Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge to strengthen the team's capability and productivity. Team Support Support the Finance team with day-to-day accounting operations, including payment runs and reviewing journal entries. Provide cover for banking activities by entering payment details into the banking portal during staff absences. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the Finance function. THE PERSON: Essential: Finance professional with c5-6 years' post-education experience preparing Management Accounts within the real estate, property investment, property development or commercial property sector. Experience with VAT and CIS reporting. Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail. They are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to work on a project for the CFO. THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT : Preparing and own the annual budgeting process , from first draft through to final sign-off. Building detailed, bottom-up budgets based on real operational activity, including headcount, volumes, service levels and contract changes . Modelling income, direct costs, overheads and margin , taking account of phasing, seasonality and contractual changes. Challenging assumptions where they appear optimistic, inconsistent or unsupported, ensuring budgets are realistic and deliverable. Supporting accurate cash and margin forecasting , ensuring budgets and phasing profiles feed into wider financial forecasts. Helping improve budgeting processes, templates, models and assumption libraries to drive consistency and efficiency. THE PERSON REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT : Ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with strong post-qualified experience Proven experience owning budgets and forecasts , ideally across a multi-contract, multi-site or service-delivery environment, in Real Estate Excellent financial modelling and Excel skills Strong commercial and analytical thinking Confidence partnering with non-finance stakeholders and constructively challenging assumptions THE Benefits: Hybrid working (3 days office). Finance Business Partner. OUR CLIENT is a leading provider of residential houses and property management services across all tenures, supporting central and local government, development and institutional investment clients. Following significant growth and transformation, including major new contracts and partnerships, they are now seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to support the continued development and financial performance of the division on a temporary to permanent basis. The person MUST be available to start in the next 7 days. THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS for the Senior Finance Business Partner will include: Business partnering with Divisional Operations Directors and Profit Centre Leads to optimise financial and operational performance. Overseeing the month-end finance process, ensuring accruals, prepayments, deferred income, revenue invoices, adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and on time. Developing a strong understanding of contracts and divisional P&Ls to provide meaningful financial insight and challenge. THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Part-qualified, qualified accountant or qualified by experience. Experience of managing, coaching and developing finance professionals. Strong experience in management accounting, financial reporting and analysis. Proven experience of business partnering with senior operational and non-finance stakeholders. Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, with the ability to identify opportunities and manage financial risk. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret and present complex financial information clearly. Due to winning new business, they are now seeking a Client Accountant to work on a residential block portfolio to ensure new property finances are up to date and ensuring handover has been completed. THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS for the Client Accountant: Responsible for preparing year-end complex service charge accounts for residential blocks. Responsible for preparing quarterly client reports. Preparing bank reconciliations. Being first point of client contact regarding the handover of new clients and following up on any outstanding queries. Assisting with VAT returns. Handling day-to-day clients' queries. Overseeing day to day bank balances and monthly bank reconciliation process. Raising quarterly management fees. Assisting with management of accounts receivable, payable and credit control functions. THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Must have knowledge and experience of the residential block property sector. Bookkeeper - Real Estate. OUR CLIENT is a well-established and highly regarded national firm of property advisors, specialising in both residential and commercial property. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their finance team. THE ROLE: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations related to client and tenant accounting. Key duties include: Posting Receipts - Recording rental income, service charges, and other receipts in the property management system. Bank Reconciliations - Matching receipts to tenant accounts, resolving discrepancies, and reconciling client and service charge bank accounts. Tenant Account Management - Ensuring payments are correctly allocated and liaising with property managers or tenants for unidentified funds. Client Payovers - Assisting with preparing and processing regular payovers to clients/landlords. Service Charge Support - Posting service charge receipts and processing transfers where required. Month-End / Year-End Support - Assisting with reconciled data for reporting and audits. General Finance Support - Supporting the finance team with bookkeeping, invoice entry, and other ad hoc tasks. THE PERSON' s requirements for the Bookkeeper: Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts assistant role (property experience desirable but not essential). Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail. Good knowledge of Excel (basic formulas, data management). Experience with property management systems such as TRAMPS, YARDI, QUBE Strong communication and organisational skills. A professional and proactive approach to handling client and tenant funds.
