Part-Time Accounts Assistant (Experienced) Location: Newton Aycliffe Start Date: February (or sooner) Salary: £25,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Working Hours & Flexibility: This is a part-time role (20-24 hours per week) with flexible working arrangements, either: 5-part days per week, or 3 full days per week RMS Recruitment are seeking an experienced and highly capable part-time accounts professional to take full responsibility for the day-to-day accounts function of our client s construction business. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and confidently lead the accounts side of the company. About the Role: Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for managing the accounts function in its entirety, including close liaison with our commercial and construction teams. Key responsibilities will include: Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation using Xero Verifying and submitting CIS and PAYE Preparation and submission of VAT returns Processing payments and issuing remittances Purchase ledger reconciliation Producing financial reports and updates for Directors Supporting and liaising with the commercial/construction team as required About You: Proven experience in a similar accounts role, ideally within construction or a related sector Strong working knowledge of Xero Confident handling CIS, PAYE, and VAT Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Able to work independently and take ownership of the accounts function Strong communication skills and comfortable reporting to senior management If you are an experienced accounts professional looking for a flexible, autonomous role within a growing business, we would be keen to hear from you. RMS are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Parts Administrator to join our team in Corby. Job Details: Location : Corby Salary: £14.31p/h, overtime & unsociable hours paid at a premium rate. Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours : Monday to Friday, weekly shift rotation 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm About the Role: Reporting to the Client Account Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of our Parts Department supporting stock integrity, workshop productivity, and excellent service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate stock levels, complete regular checks, and manage returns. Order and replenish parts and consumables, liaising closely with suppliers. Support the workshop by booking parts out and ensuring timely availability. Inspect incoming parts and manage storage to meet quality standards. Communicate effectively with clients, workshop teams, finance, and Centre management. Ensure compliance with internal processes, health & safety, and ISO requirements. Contribute to cost efficiency and continuous improvement across the department. About You: Minimum 2 years experience in a Parts/Stores role within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of vehicle parts, stock control, and goods in/out processes. Confident IT user (MS Office; training provided on bespoke systems). Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and solve problems proactively. We're hiring SMART Repair Technicians responsible for minor paint repairs using SMART techniques, ensuring vehicles meet company standards and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Clean, sand, and prime parts & panels to prepare them for repair. Mask off areas that are not to be repaired to avoid overspray or accidental damage. Perform minor paintwork repairs, such as scratch and scuff repairs, using SMART techniques. Polish, buff, and apply protective coatings. To make any necessary adjustments to ensure repairs meet company standards. Keep accurate records of work performed. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition. To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience completing SMART Repairs on Vehicles. Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? You ll work under the Workshop Shift Manager, handling de-trim and re-trim tasks to ensure vehicles are in perfect condition before dispatch. Key Responsibilities: Remove panels before the vehicle enters the paint booth. Refit panels after painting. Ensure electrics function after re-trimming. Inspect vehicles to ensure bodywork matches. Follow manufacturer guidelines for material usage. Maintain a clean, organized workshop. Keep tools in good working condition. Follow health and safety regulations. About you?
