Mechanical Assembly Operative - Key Duties: The position reports to the Production Manager and the key responsibilities / required skills are as follows: Job Purpose Summary Assembling components to create sub-assemblies Building and testing of a range of different components, working to a high level of detail Working with small components - a strong attention to detail and high level of manual dexterity is required Completion of Test Certificates and Packing Sheets as necessary Have a keen interest in mechanical / electrical works Fitting a small amount of pre made cables Essential Skills Base Good experience gained as a mechanical Assembly Operative is ESSENTIAL Electrical experience would be a bonus Able to carry out some manual handling tasks Able to handle small components Flexible and enthusiastic attitude A good team player Core responsibilities of the role: Assembling components to create sub-assemblies Building and testing of a range of different components, working to a high level of detail Completion of Test Certificates and Packing Sheets as necessary We welcome applications from those with relevant experience and a positive, flexible approach. The roles are day shift only and involve no weekends. Please note though that we do require a minimum of 6 months recent mechanical assembly experience. Thank you.

T his is a superb, permanent (not timesheet based!) role with a well established and successful company offering a superb working environment. The successful candidate will report to the Production supervisor, and on a day to day basis will powder coat a wide variety of components in order to produce the final product. Key Responsibilities: Powdercoating components Completion of Test Certificates and packing sheets as necessary Working to ensure production priorities are achieved Willing to assist in various production departments as required Ensure that all tasks are undertaken in a safe manner Ensure that PPE and required corporate clothing is worn at all times Maintain high standards of housekeeping in personal and wider work areas Personal Specifications: Demonstrate a high degree of self motivation and a patient approach to tasks and to colleagues Diligently adhere to Health and Safety policies Competency to use powdercoating equipment Demonstrate strong organisational skills and a methodical approach Have effective communication skills, contributing to a positive working team environment PLEASE NOTE: This job involves working the following shifts: Week 1 Monday to Weds, 7am to 7pm, Thursday, 7.30am to 5pm Week 2 Monday to Weds 7am to 7pm Additionally - the successful candidate will need at least 6 months, recent paint spraying experience.
