We are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Electrical Design & Controls Engineer who can work effectively as part of an experienced engineering team. The role will utilise AutoCAD Electrical to design panels and electrical schematics for small systems through to large industrial automation machinery. Key Responsibilities Design and specify control systems, safety and electrical components for industrial automation systems. Create electrical schematics and designs within AutoCAD Electrical including layout diagrams, and terminal & wiring plans to EU Standards. Create technical specifications, process flow diagrams and plan control system programming architecture. Full life cycle PLC and controls programming of industrial automation systems. Work with the Design and Applications Engineering engineers to provide drawings, specifications and deliver projects on time. Co-ordinate suppliers as part of overall project control. Help as required for the electrical fitting, wiring of panels and assembly of machine builds. Carry out electrical testing procedures on new machine builds. Supporting electrical problem-solving during the manufacturing build process. Integrate and Commission new systems in support of Engineers at customer sites within the UK and overseas. Maintain, develop and support existing control systems at customer sites within the UK and overseas. Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience ie electrical design skills • Minimum of 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD Electrical or similar package. • Experience and knowledge of designing and creating electrical panel layouts within electrical CAD software. • Machinery safety training and/or experience • Sound understanding of electrical control gear, industrial automation and implementation of communication protocols (Profinet/Profibus, EtherNet/IP, TCP/IP, serial, OPC, IO-link, etc.) • A logical approach to problem-solving. • Well organised, ability to work to deadlines and high attention to detail.

We are looking for an excellent ML Ops Engineer to join our research and development team. Key Responsibilities This opportunity is to join the ML Operations teams which supports the ML Development team in building leading-edge motion capture products through provisioning and maintaining a modern ML Operations stack. This stack covers data acquisition pipelines, data management and ML model training infrastructure (SW and on-prem HW). We use both on-prem, self-managed systems and also leverage AWS infrastructure. You will have opportunities to guide the technical direction of the ML Ops team, suggest new areas of development and the potential to lead your own project. Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise You will have relevant academic (research Masters level) and/or industry experience. Excellent knowledge and experience of managing an on-premise Kubenetes cluster. Excellent knowledge of Kubeflow and similar systems, e.g. MLflow Good programming ability in Python with familiarity with Linux systems including scripting and system configuration. Experience using AWS, e.g, Cognito, S3, EC2, Lamdas, etc. Experience with ML toolkits, e.g. PyTorch, Lightning, etc., along with a solid understanding of how these fit into ML Ops pipelines and tools. Be able to design and implement MLOps solutions covering many different technologies. Desirable Skills Background in DevOps with exposure to CI systems, e.g. Jenkins Familiarity with infrastructure as code, e.g. Ansible Experience, aptitude, and a desire to work with human motion, sport, animation tools and techniques. Familiarity with C++.
