Your role as Press Operator will involve operating large tonnage Hydraulic Presses and secondary operation presses, to ensure products (predominantly for aerospace, automotive and defence industries) are manufactured to the highest quality and to required deadlines. Suitable candidate for the role of Press Operator should possess a background in manufacturing (preferably aerospace or automotive), have high attention to detail and be prepared to work in a heavily industrial environment. Duties and Responsibilities of Press Operator : Operate a variety of hydraulic presses Inspection of the product from appropriate drawings Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments Work according to Production Plan Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work Carry out tasks within allotted time limits Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager Contribute towards the smooth running of the team Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures Skills and experience required by Press Operator : Extensive experience of operating large tonne Presses Capable of working on own initiative Fully conversant with Production and Quality Standards Reliable, dedicated and possessing high attention to detail Location: Redditch, Worcestershire Hours of Work: Varied Shift Patterns Available Pay Rate: 14.00 per hour Contract: Permanent If you have the skills and experience to fulfil the role of Press Operator , please APPLY TODAY!

Established manufacturing organisation seeks highly skilled Toolmakers for immediate start. Varying shifts available, competitive rates of pay and progression opportunities provided. An exciting opportunity to join a highly professional team working within a productive, forward-thinking environment. Reporting directly to Tool Room Manager, the role of Toolmaker requires you to manufacture, maintain and repair tooling and dies to precise engineering drawings within tight tolerances, produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, maintain quality and safety standards, keep accurate records and be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and supplies. Toolmaker duties will include: Disassembly and reassembly of tools Tool splitting and regrinding Replacing component parts Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces Maintain specifications by observing all associated operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools Operate manual and CNC machinery Manual milling, turning, surface grinding, 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling, bench work Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Ensure maintenance of Quality standards Skills/Attributes required by Toolmaker : Previous experience within a similar role as Toolmaker within a heavy manufacturing environment (essential), preferably automotive or aerospace background Toolmaker apprenticeship or minimum 3 years' experience in a toolroom environment Experience setting and operating CNC machinery Ability to read and interpret engineering technical drawings Understanding of Quality Standards and Regulations Proven efficiency with working practices Problem solving and tool improvement Must be able to work on own initiative Attention to detail Be organised and have the ability to prioritise and multi-task Be able to communicate effectively with own team and other departments Location: Redditch, Worcestershire Hours of Work: Varying Shifts Available Pay Rate: 15 - 16.50 per hour dependent upon experience Contract: Temporary to permanent If you are a skilled Tool Maker seeking an exciting opportunity, please APPLY TODAY!
