About the Role As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll provide dedicated 2:1 support to help our client maintain his independence and enjoy the things he loves, including watching Netflix, listening to music and spending time in the community. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll be required to support our client with community outings and appointments. Your role will include: Personal care Medication administration Catheter care Moving and handling Daily living support Companionship Supporting community access Night-time monitoring and responding to care needs Promoting comfort, dignity and independence We're Looking for a Healthcare Assistant Who: Has a minimum of 3 months' care experience Holds a full UK driving licence (essential) Is confident with personal care, medication and moving & handling Has good communication skills Is reliable, compassionate and committed to delivering person-centred care Please note: Due to the nature of this care package, our client has requested female Healthcare Assistants . During the day, he attends school, and you'll support his needs before, during, and after school in the weekday, providing both personal and clinical care. As a Healthcare Assistant , you'll help create a safe, nurturing environment while supporting his daily routines, encouraging activities he enjoys, and ensuring he receives the high-quality care he deserves.
