We are currently seeking a Traffic Management Operative holding a valid NHSS 12D T1 / M1 (Signing, Lighting & Guarding) qualification to support ongoing construction logistics and temporary traffic management works across Central London. This is a consistent weekday work on organised urban projects. The role will involve installation and removal of temporary traffic management measures in accordance with Chapter 8 and approved traffic consultant drawings. Typical works include installation of water-filled barriers, cones and signage, maintaining pedestrian and cyclist segregation, and supporting site logistics operations during delivery movements. Applicants must hold a valid NHSS 12D T1 / M1 qualification, have experience working on urban sites, be able to read and follow TM drawings, and be reliable and punctual. Our projects are primarily low-speed, urban environments rather than motorway or high-speed works. There is opportunity to progress to T2 or supervisory roles for the right candidate. Full time
We are seeking an experienced freelance CAD Technician to support our growing Construction Logistics and Traffic Management portfolio across Central London. We deliver complex urban logistics schemes including pit lanes, delivery management zones, temporary access arrangements and cyclist-adjacent traffic management. We require a technically strong CAD professional who can produce clear, accurate and client-ready drawing packages. Scope of works will include preparation of Construction Logistics Plans (CLPs), swept path analysis using Autodesk Vehicle Tracking or AutoTURN (or equivalent), and temporary traffic management drawings in line with Chapter 8 and Safety at Street Works & Road Works requirements. You will also be required to produce holistic construction logistics drawings showing full site set-up, including crane locations and oversailing zones, hoists, scaffold arrangements, welfare units, storage zones, delivery holding areas, plant movement routes, pedestrian segregation, exclusion zones, temporary works interfaces and gate/access control points. Drawings must clearly demonstrate coordinated site logistics rather than isolated elements. The successful candidate must be highly proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in producing swept path analysis for various vehicles and other plant. Experience working on constrained urban sites is essential. You should understand vehicle tracking tolerances, real-world driver behaviour versus software outputs, and be able to produce clean, professional drawings suitable for submission to principal contractors and local highway authorities. You must be confident interpreting topographical surveys, overlaying traffic management layouts, coordinating multiple logistical elements into a coherent plan, and presenting drawings in a clear, uncluttered format. Experience producing concise technical notes to accompany swept path outputs and logistics plans is highly desirable. This is a freelance / project-based role. Work can be remote, although the ability to attend occasional London site meetings (if required) would be beneficial. When responding, please provide: A brief summary of relevant experience Examples of logistics plans, crane/hoist layouts and swept path drawings you have produced Software proficiency details Your day rate or project rate expectation Availability We are looking to build an ongoing working relationship with the right candidate rather than a one-off engagement. Please respond with CV and portfolio examples. Please call Pure on (phone number removed)
