Hands-on Technical Leadership- Smart Buildings & Energy Optimisation We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Building Management System (BMS) Service Team Leader to join our Smart Infrastructure division! In this role, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, being responsible for a team of engineers while ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Management Systems across a variety of client sites. The role will require travel within the UK and your defined geographical area will be the North of the UK (Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham) Successful applicants will generally work within a defined geographical area, however travel outside this allocated area will be required from time to time. It's exceptionally important that our people enjoy working here and therefore we take phenomenal pride in having a friendly, helpful and engaging culture You will make an impact by Supervise and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities for BMS systems Act as the point of contact for raised technical issues and complex fault diagnostics Ensure service delivery meets contractual KPIs and customer expectation Lead and support a small team of BMS service engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring Conduct site audits, system health checks, and performance evaluations Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery Assist in the development of energy-saving strategies and system optimizations Participate in out of hours customer support Maintain accurate service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Your defining qualities Proven experience working with BMS systems Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and building automation Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role would be helpful. Product Development Engineer (Electronics) Location: Congleton This is a hybrid role which will allow you to split your time between home and the office 2/3 days a week. On occasion there may be a requirement to be onsite more often depending on the needs of the project. An opportunity has become available for an engineer to work within the R&D electronics engineering team at Siemens' award-winning site in Congleton UK, part of the Motion Control (MC) division. This location includes offices, laboratories, test facilities and factory. With 90% of all product certification done on site in our UKAS accredited facilities we offer an exciting place to learn and develop with access to state of the art equipment. The role will be to work within one of our cross functional product development teams. We are looking for an engineer with a passion for product development and an interest in industrial electronics. But most importantly has a curious and creative approach to design and problem solving. This role involves the design and development of Sinamics G products and associated options and will provide engineering design support throughout a products lifecycle. What you'll be doing: Collaborating within a cross-functional team to shape product specifications, concepts, and project plans. Designing electronic and power circuits for industrial applications. Creating designs suitable for high-volume manufacture and aligned to cost targets. Supporting product integration, validation, and testing through simulation and practical evaluation. Assisting with product approvals, including UL certification. Supporting new product introduction and ongoing product improvements. Identifying and tracking emerging technologies and design techniques. Working closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth implementation across our global manufacturing network.
