Health, Safety & Facilities Manager Location: Leicestershire Salary: Competitive Hours: Days, 8:00am 4:30pm Sector: Manufacturing / Warehouse Our client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Facilities Manager to join their Operations team on a permanent basis. This is an urgent requirement, so early applications are strongly encouraged. You'll take ownership of health, safety and facilities compliance across the site, playing a key role in keeping the workforce safe while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business. The Role As Health, Safety & Facilities Manager, you will: Develop, implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with current regulations Conduct risk assessments for employees, workstations and job roles, ensuring effective control measures are in place Lead site audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risk Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with fire safety, hazardous material handling, noise regulations and machinery safeguarding Deliver health and safety inductions and ongoing training for staff, including fire marshalling and first aid Recommend and oversee the use of PPE where required Oversee facilities maintenance, including fire alarm systems, HVAC, electrical infrastructure and security systems Manage external contractors, ensuring RAMS are provided and reviewed before work begins Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, inspections, incident reports and maintenance logs Monitor legislative changes and update policies and procedures accordingly What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Health, Safety & Facilities Manager (or similar) within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is highly desirable IOSH General Certificate required NEBOSH qualification advantageous, or strong practical health and safety experience Facilities or maintenance management experience desirable Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) Sound understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act Strong administrative and organisational skills A positive, proactive, can-do attitude What's On Offer Salary: Competitive Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm Permanent, full-time role Opportunity to take real ownership of health, safety and facilities within a growing manufacturing business Interested? Quality Inspector - East Midlands - £13.00 to £16.00 per hour - Temp to Perm Accept Recruitment is working with an established sheet metal and engineering manufacturer in the East Midlands to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector. This role is based on the production floor rather than in an office. You'll check components against drawings and customer requirements, and sign off work before it goes out to customers. The Role Carrying out first-off, in-process and final checks on sheet metal and fabricated parts Measuring parts against drawings and tolerances using verniers, micrometers and height gauges Spotting and reporting parts that don't meet spec, and working with production to put them right Keeping inspection records and quality paperwork up to date Signing off finished jobs before despatch, checking that quantities and documentation are correct Looking after inspection equipment and making sure it's used properly Helping drive quality improvements and following site safety and quality procedures What You'll Need Experience in a quality or engineering inspection role within manufacturing Confidence reading engineering drawings and working to tolerances Practical experience with standard measuring equipment A sharp eye for detail The confidence to speak up when something isn't right Desirable A background in sheet metal, fabrication, welding or precision engineering What's On Offer £13.00 to £16.00 per hour, depending on experience Full-time days A temp-to-perm role with a clear route to a permanent job A supportive team and the chance to develop your skills Interested? Press Brake Setter - Nights - East Midlands - £14.00 to £16.00 per hour plus night shift premium - Permanent Accept Recruitment is working with an established sheet metal and engineering manufacturer in the East Midlands to recruit experienced Press Brake Setters for their night shift. This is a hands-on setting role, not just operating. You'll set up CNC press brakes from scratch, choose the right tooling and fold parts to tight tolerances with minimal supervision through the night. The Role Setting up CNC press brakes for each job, including selecting and fitting tooling Working from engineering drawings to fold parts in a range of materials and thicknesses Making adjustments and program changes to hold tolerances Carrying out first-off and in-process checks using verniers and angle gauges Keeping to the production plan and flagging any machine or quality issues Supporting the wider fabrication team when needed Following site safety and quality procedures What You'll Need Proven experience setting CNC press brakes, including tooling selection Confidence reading engineering drawings and working to tolerances Experience folding a range of materials and thicknesses A sharp eye for detail The reliability and self-motivation to work independently on nights Desirable Experience on Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf or similar machines Counterbalance forklift licence Crane or lifting experience A background in sheet metal or fabrication What's On Offer £14.00 to £16.00 per hour, depending on experience Night shift premium on top of the hourly rate Permanent, full-time nights Overtime available Pension, on-site parking and PPE supplied Training and the chance to develop your skills How to Apply Interested?
