There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK s largest house builders. Our Essex Division is looking to recruit a Sales Advisor to join the Division s Sales team. The Role The role of Sales Advisor, reports to the Sales Manager and carries out all aspects of the day to day running of the site sales complex, ensuring that outstanding customer service is delivered throughout the customer journey. This includes achieving qualified sales reservations and meeting or exceeding sales targets, as well as efficiently progressing reservations through to exchange of contracts and legal completion. Principal accountabilities of the role include: Ensure that the general presentation of the site and that of the sales complex is maintained to a high standard. Ensure that all relevant information required to be able to give full and accurate information to purchasers is available and maintained at all times. Guide potential purchasers around show homes, stock plots and site to fully demonstrate the product. Ensure visitors and potential purchasers to site are aware of Bellway s Health and Safety Policy and they are always accompanied by a Bellway representative. Maintain accurate records using Bellway s in-house CRM system. Liaise with purchases, solicitors and financial advisers on a regular basis. Arrange for a customer to attend a home demonstration with the Site Manager and carry out the Company s handover policy. Assist purchasers following legal completion with any defects or customer care issues Attend and minute a weekly Sales/Site Meeting with your Site Manager. Proactively work with Sales Managers and colleagues to suggest ideas to achieve increased sales. Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience Experience of working within a face to face sales environment. Experience of working as a Sales Advisor for a residential house builder is desirable. Qualifications and Training GCSE Maths and English Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) Skills and Aptitude Effective negotiation and sales skills Good administration skills Strong communication and listening skills Ability to work on own as well as part of a team IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems Committed to diversity and inclusion The Role and Working Conditions Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked. Lone working, dependant on site. Ability to travel to all sales sites, including divisional offices. Able to work weekends and bank holidays. Our Eastern Counties Division located in Cambridge is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join the Division s Finance team. The Role The role of Finance Assistant involves assisting in the production of accurate and timely financial transactions and reports in addition to maintaining the business s accounting records. This will include, purchase ledger duties, and ad hoc tasks within the finance department. Principal accountabilities of the Finance Assistant role include: Assist with other purchase ledger duties, including; Processing invoices against orders Processing divisional expenses Managing delivery notes from site Managing invoices for approval Carry out monthly statement reconciliations Carry out mid-month and month end payment runs, ensuring compliance with the Prompt Payment Code Process sub-contractor invoices and certifications (self-billing) and set up and verify new sub-contractors with HMRC Processing House sales journals and cancellations, Collating data for lunar payroll (if applicable) Set up and process payments, post nominal ledger journals as necessary, cashbook entries, sales invoices, manage the sales ledger, reconcile sales receipts and conduct bank reconciliations Weekly cash forecast and movement reports Provide cover for critical tasks during leave periods and other ad hoc tasks within the finance department Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Divisional and Group Finance Management Teams. Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience Experience of working within a similar role will be preferred Experience of working with accountancy software. Working knowledge of COINS would be desirable Qualifications and Training GCSE Maths and English Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) AAT qualification is desirable Skills and Aptitude Good interpersonal skills. Our Scotland East Division located in Livingston is seeking a Head of Finance to join the Divisions Senior Management Team. The role will be offered based on the candidate's level of experience. The Role The role of Head of Finance will drive the financial performance and position of the Division s business and is a key member of the Division s senior management team, supporting the Managing Director achieve the agreed business plan and sustainable, profitable growth. The Head of Finance will have a broad level of operational knowledge to enable critical review and challenge of key decisions and information across all of the Division s disciplines. There is opportunity for progression if the chosen candidate demonstrates their ability to successfully carry out the role and a high level. The role of Head of Finance reports to the Regional Finance Director. Principal accountabilities of the Head of Finance role include: Divisional Management Develop the business plan for the division with other functional heads within the division and ensuring it is aligned to the Group s strategic objectives. Ownership of the budget and three year forecast for the division, ensuring it is accurate and well managed, and ultimately delivering it. Review and challenge proposed land acquisitions, including areas such as the financial assumptions and VAT issues. Primary divisional contact for divisional HR, payroll, IT and fleet issues with support available from Group. Lead and manage the Divisional finance team and ensure accuracy, quality and efficiency are maximised. Reporting, Controlling and Operational Manage the interim and year end process with external auditors through to sign off for the division. Oversee all month end processes for the division and timely delivery of management information to both the divisional management team and Group. Treasury management ensuring monthly and daily cash flow forecasts for the division are as accurate as possible. Accurately complete returns to Group such as at year end, half year end, budgets, pay review, bonus calculations, National Statistics and prompt payments. Management compliance and overall responsibility for all taxes relating to the Division. This includes VAT, CIS, payroll taxes and corporation tax. Forecast valuation revenues in conjunctions with the Sales Director for inclusion in the quarterly valuations. Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience Considerable post-qualified experience gained in industry in a role incorporating accounting and financial control responsibly. Experience must include: Financial and management accounting including leading month end close, evidence of responding to and working with external auditors, providing analysis, profit and loss and cashflow, forecasting and planning, supporting and challenging businesses to make optimal operational and performance decisions. Experience of successfully leading and developing a team. Previous experience as a Head of in a similar function is desirable Qualifications and Training ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification Skills and Aptitude Excellent administration and organisation skills Analysis, numerical and report writing skills Strong management and time management skills Strong communication, listening and problem solving skills Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Demonstrates a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Excellent attention to detail Ability to work on own as well as part of a team Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems.
