Job Title: Asset Surveyor (Temporary, 6 Months) Location: Lancashire Contract: Temporary, 6 months Pay Rate: £250/day - £300 (via umbrella company) Work Style: Mobile Office-Based Worker Car Requirement: Essential About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Asset Surveyor for a 6-month temporary assignment to support our clients Asset Strategy & Investment Team. This role involves delivering a range of surveying and contract management activities across our housing portfolio. You will work closely with contractors, colleagues, and residents to ensure high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Conduct property surveys, including stock condition, reactive, asbestos, and quality assurance inspections. Prepare technical specifications, priced schedules of work, and tender documentation. Manage and monitor contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification. Support tenant consultation and engagement on planned works. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including CDM regulations. Maintain accurate records, project files, and databases. Person Specification: Proven experience in building surveying and contract management. Knowledge of social housing, construction legislation, and CDM regulations.
