THE ROLE: My client, a successful manufacturing and engineering company, needs an internal sales administrator to support internal sales and customer account management activities. Using your organisation and administrative skills you will provide support to the internal and external sales team. This will include dealing with customer requests over the phone and by email, maintaining accurate records, sending detailed information to customers and other duties to ensure the sales process runs smoothly and consistently high levels of customer service and satisfaction are maintained. In this role you will: Respond quickly and effectively to customer enquiries requests for information by email and other channels. - Support the sales order process from quote / proposal to delivery. - Liaise with internal and external sales colleagues for a seamless customer experience. - Work closely with colleagues in all departments to ensure customers are kept informed at all stages and get the information required. - Obtain customer feedback for use in improving products, services and customer experience. - Maintain up to date customer, product, pricing and delivery information. - Effectively manage systems and maintain accurate records. THE CANDIDATE: With experience in an internal sales / administration or customer service role, you will idally have worked in a manufacturing, technical or engineering company and / or be comfortable working with technical products. You will not be afraid to engage with and gain an understanding of technical products in order to understand customer requirements and communicate with clarity and confidence. Your skills and experience should include: - Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt your communication to a diverse business to business customer base. - Computer literate and IT systems and databases / CRMs. - High attention to detail and able to maintain accurate and up to date records. - Able to understand customer requirements and respond appropriately. - Able to connect customers to the right people and get the information they need. - Determined, able to manage your own workload and contribute towards team and company goals in a collaborative environment. - Able to respond in a timely manner and work towards key deadlines with a flexible approach. THE ROLE - Double Day shifts, 6 month fixed term contract My client is an engineering company who provide specialist production services to manufacturing industry - they are looking for an additional production operator. This would suit someone with some experience working on CNC machinery or other automated or semi-automated production equipment in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Full training will be given. This role involves working in a small team to set up, operate and monitor semi-automated production equipment. This includes carrying out pre-start checks and loading materials, ensuring operating parameters are maintained and performing visual quality inspections and machine checks as well as recording production data. Some routine maintenance tasks will also be required and responding to any issues. You will work to production schedules and communicate effectively across shifts and with colleagues, maintaining cleanliness and high standards of health and safety. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Operating automated / semi-automated industrial or manufacturing machinery. - Working to standard operating procedures (SOP's). - Conducting quality inspections and documentation. - Following production and maintenance schedules. - High standards or healh and safety and organisation. - Must be willing to undertake training Also desirable would be: - Experience of working to aerospace standards. - Fault finding or routine maintenance ability. - First Aid and Fire Marshal training. THE ROLE (hybrid working with UK travel) : My client requires an experienced HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) professional, ideally with multi-site and team leadersip experience to ensure that their operations remain compliant, audit-ready and prepared for upcoming regulatory, environmental and industry challenges. You will achieve this by mentoring and developing, supporting and directing site based HSE staff to help them remain compliant and forward-looking, implementing best practice in all areas of the business. As a experienced health, safety and environmental manager, you will not have lost touch with operations but will be able to communicate, co-ordinate and facilitate as well as audit and advise working closely with a range of stakeholders - you should be able to take a strategic view but be able to implement operationally accross the businesses. THE PERSON: The successful candidate will have: - Experience of HSE management / leadership at a fairly senior level in a larger organisation with significant operations ideally including logistics, manufacturing and engineering. - Appropriate qualifications to a higher level including NEBOSH. - A broad and deep knowledge of HSE regulations and their application including facilities, energy etc. - Audit experience. - Great communication skills at all levels of the business and externally, verbally and in writing. - Ability to work autonomously but also cohesively with local and remote colleagues. THE ROLE: This is a hands-on position, working closely with a small team to deliver tree planting and soft landscaping projects across various customer sites. Due to growth my client is looking for an additional sales engineer. This would suit someone with an engineering background / understanding who is a good communicator and may have worked in customer facing roles previously such as sales engineering / projects engineering / proposals etc. You may be looking to move into a more client facing role from internal sales. THE OPPORTUNITY My client designs and manufactures bespoke special purpose equipment for a range of industries thoughout the UK and need a sales engineer with a strong engineering background who is able to respond quickly and professionally to customers. You will work closely with customer's engineering teams to provide engineering solutions to their issues and ensure the project runs smoothly until their solution is commissioned and operational. This role is base at my client's facility with some travel to customer sites. JOB CONTENT: The successful candidate will: - Manage sales enquiries and projects from enquiry to order. - Review technical and project data, responding quickly and professionally to customers with proposed solutions. - After product familiarisation, identify and develop sales opportunities with existing and new customers, compile and present quotations. - Maintain accurate and detailed technical and customer information. - Liaise with all internal departments to ensure projects run smoothly and customer are communicated with well at every stage. TO APPLY you should have: - A solid engineering background / understanding (ideally with some level of engineering qualification) and the ability to understand technical information and communicate with engineers and customers. - Excellent communication skills by telephone and email and enjoy speaking with customers. - Good IT literacy and the ability to present well written, attractive documentation. - The ability to manage and keep a tight handle on multiple projects concurrently.
