They are seeking an experienced Design Manager to take ownership of design coordination and management on complex, high-value schemes. This role will suit someone coming from a Tier 1 main contractor background , used to working on large-scale projects with demanding design and technical challenges. Key Responsibilities: Oversee design development from pre-construction through to delivery. Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. Manage design risk and ensure buildability throughout project stages. Liaise with project stakeholders to resolve technical issues efficiently. Requirements: Previous experience as a Design Manager with a recognised Tier 1 contractor. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards. Track record of delivering projects £50m+ in value. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
