We re looking for an experienced Personal Tax Semi-Senior to join our growing Tax team in Borehamwood. The role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients. You ll also handle client queries, providing confidentiality, transparency and an excellent standard of service at all times. Key Responsibilities Prepare annual tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and forms such as P11Ds, PSAs, ATEDs and non-resident landlord returns Handle multi-property rental accounts Assist in responding to enquiries raised by HMRC Prepare basic capital gains computations Draft and amend letters and emails for supervisor approval Draft replies to client or third-party correspondence, seeking input as needed Prepare other forms and documentation required by HMRC or third parties About You You ll have relevant experience in a similar role, ideally having completed at least two tax seasons. You ll also bring a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and correct inaccuracies efficiently. Accuracy, communication and organisation are key in this role. Key Responsibilities Review and advise managers on clients residency and non-domiciliary status, including reference to the remittance basis charge Prepare tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships and trusts Prepare forms such as P11D s, PSA and ATED s, and elections where required Review tax notices and prepare correspondence to clients Complete client work within agreed budgets and timeframes, keeping the Tax Manager updated Communicate queries to clients effectively and clearly Keep up to date with developments in taxation Undertake technical research for clients and consultants Support ad hoc tasks as required by the Manager About You You ll have relevant experience in a similar role and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify inaccuracies and resolve them efficiently.
