Establish robust continuous integration and continuous deployment processes for safety-critical software components. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to embed software systems seamlessly into physical hardware products. Skills and background A degree in software engineering, computer science or an equivalent technical qualification. Essential technical proficiency using Linux alongside real-time software development in C, C++ or Python. System Safety Engineer - London (Hybrid) We are working in partnership with a client to recruit a System Safety Engineer to support the delivery of complex railway infrastructure projects. The role focuses on system safety and interoperability assurance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.The successful candidate will support design and construction teams, manage hazard identification and risk assessments, maintain technical assurance documentation, and provide guidance on system safety practices. This role involves producing reports, tracking assurance deliverables, and contributing to continuous improvement of assurance processes.
